Consignment

Consignment

Consigning a car isn’t just about finding a buyer or seller. It is also about deciding who should be involved in the sale, how the car is represented along the way, and mostly matching up the right car for the right buyer. This is one of our specialities.
Custom Classic GTOs consigns Pontiac GTO, LeMans, and other Pontiac models, along with select classic muscle cars. Hundreds of cars move through consignment each year, but each one is handled individually, not as part of a system. You will receive the benefit of our personalized services, benefitting from decades of experience.

How Consignment Works Here

Every car is different. So is every owner.
Some cars come to the shops. Others stay with the owner. Some need time and preparation before being offered. Others are ready as they sit.
There isn’t a single formula. The approach depends on the car, the situation, and what makes sense for everyone involved. You can trust us to make the experience as painless and satisfying as possible. This includes assisting both the owner and prospective buyers. We assist both with an equal amount of trust, honesty, integrity and fairness.

Representation Matters

A lot of consignment problems start with how a car is described.

Cars are presented for what they are. Original cars are identified as such. Restored cars are represented based on the quality of work done. Modified cars are described honestly, without trying to make them sound like something else. We do our absolute best to attain the details and facts pertaining to each car so that we may attain and relay the pertinent details that need to be conveyed between buyer and seller. We also assist in contractual protocol, appraisals and transportations. In some cases, we can also use 3rd party financing if needed.

That clarity protects both the seller and the buyer, and it’s what keeps deals from falling apart later.

Location Flexibility

Consignment cars do not always need to leave the owner’s location. In many cases, cars are sold directly from where they’re stored, depending on the circumstances.

That flexibility is often important for owners who prefer not to move a car unnecessarily or disrupt an existing setup.

Terms That Make Sense

Each consignment agreement is set up individually. Commission structures are discussed and agreed upon based on the car, its value, and how the sale will be handled.

Why Owners Choose Consignment Here

Most consignments come from repeat clients, referrals, and long-standing relationships. That doesn’t happen by accident.
Owners consign here because they want:
  • accurate descriptions
  • steady communication
  • realistic expectations
  • and a sale that doesn’t create problems later
