Custom Classic GTOs has been operating in the Pontiac and classic muscle car space since 1984. We started in a small garage, advertising by word of mouth, performing detailed work and sourcing parts for 64’ through 72’ models. As the word spread, we began full and partial restoration of GTOs and LeMans in the late 1980s by working together with local shops. By the early 1990s we expanded nationally by advertising monthly in the Hemings Motor News, the Old Car Trader, Smoke Signals, and other national and local publications, operating out of Deerfield Beach and Boca Raton, Florida.

The business has focused consistently on Pontiac GTOs, LeMans, and other Pontiac models, along with select classic muscle cars. Over the decades, that specialization has remained unchanged.

In 1994, the company formally operated under the fictitious name Custom Classic Automotive of Florida, doing business as Custom Classic GTOs and eventually customclassicgtos.com

Four Decades in the Pontiac Market

Since 1984, the company has restored, sold, and consigned thousands of Pontiac and classic muscle cars. Consignment volume alone accounts for multitudes of vehicles each year.

Over time, Custom Classic GTOs has participated in multiple national-level restorations, national show wins, and record-setting auction sales within the Pontiac segment.

In the late 1990s, Custom Classic GTO moved their operations to Doylestown, Pennsylvania where they operated for over 25 years restoring cars for and selling cars to a range of clients including private collectors, high profile individuals and celebrities along with long standing, Pontiac enthusiasts and across the country and internationally. Some of these clients included; Jay Leno, Tim Allen, John Cena, ZZ Top, The Goo-Goo Dolls, several high-ranking political figures, high profile CEOs such as Johnny Walker Red, KPMG, Ford Motor company, AMES Performance, Warrior roofing company, Legendary Motor Cars in Canada, Pontiac historical services AKA; PHS, and more. Some of these sales and restorations were Brokered and/or contracted through second party and third party individuals and some directly with Custom Classic GTOs.

In 2000, the company gained national acclaim as one of the predominant Pontiac dealers and restoration companies in The U.S., associating with such top names such as John Kane restorations and more. The company was also assisting with price guides for Pontiac cars in such publications as listed in the old car trader price guide for Pontiacs and also assisting USAA, Grundy worldwide and Hagerty classic cars insurance company with insurance claims and Pontiac classic car values, repair costs and parts. Custom Classic GTOs always had at least $800,000.00-$1,000,000.00 worth of classic Pontiacs in their personal inventory from 2007-2011.

In the following years, the owner and CEO of Custom Classic GTO cut their production down by 60% to focus on additional business and entrepreneurial enterprises. Today, the business still stands as one of the most iconic and recognizable names in the Pontiac and GTO world yet, still heavily involved with a hobby restoring, selling and consigning several 100 cars per year. Four Decades in the Pontiac Market

While many businesses expand into broader inventory categories over time, Custom Classic GTOs has remained centered around Pontiac GTO and LeMans models.

That consistency has allowed the company to build long-term industry relationships, repeat clients, and an established presence within the Pontiac market nationwide.

Based in Westlake, Florida.

In 2019, Custom Class GTOs moved its operation to Palm Beach County, Florida and continues to buy, sell, restore, consign, appraise, and service Pontiac and select classic muscle cars across the United States.

Today, the focus remains the same as it has been since the beginning: Pontiac muscle, handled with long-term experience. As the business has streamlined its operation since its inception in 1984, it continues with legendary sales, service and restorations utilizing its selection of capable and reliable selected shops throughout the U.S., and Canada providing the same legendary service it has for over 42 years.
